1. Introduction
1.1 Binding Agreement
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a binding legal agreement between you ("you," "your," or "User") and RedLightWorld.com ("RedLightWorld," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using any RedLightWorld websites, mobile applications, APIs, or related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Community Guidelines, our Safety & Moderation standards, and any supplemental policies referenced herein. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Services.
1.2 Scope of Services
RedLightWorld provides AI-driven conversational companions, including text chat, image generation, voice/TTS features, AI memory and personalization, user-created companions, user-uploaded content, community chatrooms, forums, comments, moderation tools, and an affiliate/referral program. Optional modes allow adult and NSFW interactions subject to these Terms. Certain features require registration, subscription, or token purchases. Beta or experimental features may be offered with reduced or variable performance.
1.3 Acceptance of Terms
You accept these Terms when you create an account, click to agree, access or use the Services, make a purchase, or continue using the Services after a notice of changes. If you access the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.
2. Who We Are
RedLightWorld.com is operated by RedLightWorld Inc., a corporation organized and existing under the laws of its jurisdiction of incorporation. Our principal business address is 123 Example Avenue, Suite 500, Example City, CA 90000, USA. References to "RedLightWorld" include our affiliates, successors, and assigns.
3. Eligibility
3.1 Age Requirement
The Services are strictly limited to adults who are at least eighteen (18) years old, or the age of majority in their place of residence if higher. By using the Services, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
3.2 Prohibition for Minors
Minors are not permitted to access or use the Services. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we learn that a minor has accessed the Services, we will take steps to terminate the account and delete associated data as appropriate.
3.3 Legal Capacity
You must have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are accessing on behalf of an entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.
4. Account Registration
4.1 Required Information
To access certain features, you must register for an account and provide accurate and complete information, which may include email address, username, password, date of birth, payment information, and verification details. We may require age verification, phone verification, or identity checks for safety and compliance.
4.2 Account Security
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and restricting access to your devices. You must promptly notify us of any unauthorized use or security breach. You agree not to share your account, credentials, tokens, or subscription benefits with others. RedLightWorld is not liable for losses arising from unauthorized use of your account unless caused by our breach of these Terms.
4.3 One Account Per User
Unless explicitly permitted, each individual may maintain only one personal account. Creating multiple accounts to bypass restrictions, suspensions, usage caps, or payment requirements is prohibited.
5. Platform Overview
5.1 AI Companion Features
RedLightWorld offers AI chat companions that can generate text responses, images, and voice/TTS outputs based on user prompts. Companions may be created by RedLightWorld or by users and may include customizable personalities, behaviors, and memory settings.
5.2 Modalities and Tools
The Services include: (a) text chat; (b) AI-generated images; (c) AI-generated audio/voice/TTS responses; (d) user-uploaded images and audio for personalization or contextual prompts; (e) user-created companions and personality customization; (f) AI memory features to recall past interactions and personalize responses; and (g) community chatrooms, forums, and comment areas.
5.3 AI Limitations
AI outputs may be unpredictable, fictional, inaccurate, offensive, biased, hallucinated, or inappropriate for certain audiences. AI does not have beliefs, feelings, consciousness, or human judgment. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI outputs. Do not rely on AI for medical, legal, financial, mental health, or safety-critical advice.
5.4 Beta and Experimental Features
Some features may be offered as beta or experimental and may change, break, or be removed at any time without notice. Performance may vary, and outputs may be limited by safety filters or resource constraints.
6. Adult Content Disclosure
6.1 NSFW Modes
The Services may include optional adult-oriented or NSFW modes. Activation of such modes requires explicit user selection and confirmation that the user is at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where they reside). NSFW modes may still be subject to safety filters and moderation.
6.2 Consent and Responsibility
You are solely responsible for your interactions with AI companions and for ensuring that any adult content you access or create is legal in your jurisdiction and consensual between participants. AI companions are fictional; no real persons are depicted unless you have the legal right to do so and the content complies with these Terms.
6.3 Safe Mode
Users may choose safe-mode settings to restrict adult content. Safe-mode reduces but does not eliminate exposure to unexpected or undesired material. You remain responsible for reviewing outputs and using available content controls.
6.4 Geographic and Legal Restrictions
You must not access adult or NSFW content where prohibited by local law. You are responsible for compliance with all applicable laws, including age verification, obscenity, and content distribution rules in your region.
7. User Responsibilities
7.1 Lawful Use
You must use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to violate any applicable local, national, or international law.
7.2 Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: (a) harass, stalk, threaten, exploit, or abuse others; (b) request, create, or distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any depiction of minors in sexualized contexts—zero tolerance applies; (c) create, upload, or distribute illegal content; (d) seek to bypass or disable safety filters, rate limits, or access controls; (e) reverse engineer, decompile, or scrape the Services or models; (f) interfere with or disrupt servers or networks; (g) use bots or automated means without authorization; (h) engage in fraud, phishing, or spam; (i) misrepresent your identity or affiliation; or (j) encourage others to violate these Terms.
7.3 Compliance with Community Standards
You must follow any Community Guidelines or House Rules we publish. We may update those guidelines to address emerging risks.
8. AI Interaction Rules
8.1 AI Nature
AI companions are non-human, do not have consciousness, and cannot consent or enter into relationships. Any persona is fictional. Do not attribute human rights, emotions, or responsibilities to AI outputs.
8.2 No Professional Advice
AI outputs are provided for entertainment and informational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional advice, including medical, psychiatric, financial, tax, or legal advice. Do not rely on AI in emergencies or safety-critical contexts.
8.3 Fictional and Inaccurate Outputs
AI may hallucinate, fabricate facts, or generate fictional narratives. AI outputs may include outdated or incorrect information. You remain responsible for verifying any information and for how you use AI outputs.
8.4 Sensitive and Harmful Content
AI may occasionally generate unexpected, offensive, or biased content despite safety measures. Use safe-mode, content filters, and reporting tools to manage your experience. Notify us of harmful outputs.
9. Payment Terms
9.1 Subscriptions
We offer subscription plans (including Free and Premium tiers) billed on a recurring basis through Stripe or similar processors. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method at the disclosed interval until cancellation.
9.2 Tokens and Microtransactions
You may purchase tokens for additional usage (e.g., extra interactions, image or audio generation). Token pricing and bundles are disclosed at purchase. Token purchases are processed via Stripe. Token balances may expire where legally permitted or as disclosed at purchase. Tokens have no cash value and are non-transferable except as permitted by us.
9.3 Pricing, Currency, and Taxes
Prices are shown in the currency presented at checkout and may exclude taxes, duties, or fees depending on your location. You are responsible for applicable taxes. We may change prices, billing intervals, or token packages with notice where required by law.
9.4 Renewals and Cancellations
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel before renewal. You may cancel through your account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future billing but does not entitle you to refunds for prior periods, except where required by law.
9.5 Refund Policy
Except where required by law or explicitly stated, all purchases are final and non-refundable. We may, in our sole discretion, offer refunds or credits on a case-by-case basis. Residents of certain jurisdictions may have statutory withdrawal rights; such rights are preserved where applicable and may be waived for digital content upon consent.
9.6 Payment Processing
Payments are handled by third-party processors (e.g., Stripe). You authorize us and our processors to charge your payment method and to collect and store necessary billing data. Transactions are subject to processor terms and may require authentication (e.g., 3D Secure). We are not responsible for processor errors or third-party service interruptions.
10. Free vs Premium Tier
10.1 Free Tier
The Free tier may include limited access to AI companions, daily caps on interactions, reduced image/audio generation, lower priority processing, limited memory persistence, ads or promotional content, and restricted access to community features. We may change Free tier limits at any time.
10.2 Premium Tier
Premium subscriptions may include higher or unlimited interaction allowances, enhanced image/audio generation, longer memory persistence, priority support, advanced customization, reduced safety filters within legal and policy bounds, early access to new features, and ad-free experiences. Specific benefits are described at purchase and may vary by region.
10.3 Changes to Features
We may modify, add, or remove features for Free or Premium tiers. Material changes will be communicated where required by law. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
11. User-Generated Content
11.1 Ownership
You retain ownership of content you submit or upload to the Services, including text, images, audio, video (if any), prompts, and user-created companion profiles (collectively, "User Content"), subject to the licenses granted in these Terms.
11.2 License to RedLightWorld
You grant RedLightWorld a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to host, store, reproduce, display, adapt, modify (for formatting, safety, or technical purposes), transmit, process, analyze, and create derivative works from User Content for purposes of providing, operating, improving, moderating, securing, marketing, and developing the Services, including model training and personalization where permitted by law and subject to the Privacy Policy and user controls.
11.3 Uploaded Images and Audio
You represent that you have all necessary rights and permissions to upload images, audio, and other media, including rights of publicity and privacy for identifiable individuals. Do not upload non-consensual, copyrighted, illegal, or harmful material. We may use automated tools to scan and moderate uploads.
11.4 User-Created Companions
If you create companions, personas, or character profiles, you grant the license in Section 11.2 to those creations. You must ensure that companions do not infringe others' rights, impersonate real individuals without consent, or violate these Terms. We may remove or modify companions that violate policy or law.
11.5 Prohibited User Content
User Content must not: (a) depict minors or persons who appear under 18 in sexual contexts; (b) violate intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights; (c) include hate speech, extremist content, or threats of violence; (d) include malware or malicious code; (e) involve doxxing or disclosure of personal data of others without consent; (f) solicit or facilitate illegal activity; (g) contain non-consensual intimate imagery; or (h) attempt to bypass filters.
11.6 Removal and Retention
We may remove or restrict User Content that violates these Terms or law. We may retain backup copies for a reasonable period for legal, compliance, or security purposes even after deletion requests, subject to applicable law.
12. AI-Generated Content Ownership
12.1 Allocation of Rights
Subject to compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, distribute, and create derivative works from AI-generated outputs (text, images, audio) you lawfully obtain through the Services for personal, commercial, or editorial purposes, unless otherwise stated for specific features.
12.2 Platform License
You grant RedLightWorld a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, sublicensable license to store, process, analyze, and use AI-generated outputs for providing, improving, and moderating the Services, for safety systems, to enforce these Terms, and for model training where permitted by law and our Privacy Policy.
12.3 Restrictions and Disclaimers
AI-generated outputs may include copyrighted or trademarked elements in responses to user prompts; you are responsible for ensuring that your use of outputs does not infringe third-party rights. AI outputs are provided "as is" without warranties. We do not guarantee exclusivity of outputs; others may receive similar content. Some jurisdictions may limit the scope of rights in AI-generated works; your rights are subject to applicable law.
12.4 Moral and Personality Rights
You agree to waive, and ensure that contributors waive, any moral rights in AI-generated outputs to the extent permitted by law. Do not prompt AI to generate content that violates privacy, publicity, or personality rights without authorization.
13. Prohibited Content & Conduct
13.1 Illegal and Harmful Material
You must not use the Services to create, upload, or distribute illegal content, including CSAM, bestiality, non-consensual sexual content, trafficking content, or content prohibited by applicable law or platform rules. Zero tolerance applies to CSAM: we report suspected violations to relevant authorities and organizations.
13.2 Intellectual Property Violations
Do not infringe or misappropriate copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, or other intellectual property rights. Do not request or distribute pirated content.
13.3 Abuse, Harassment, and Hate
Do not use the Services to harass, bully, threaten, or promote hate or violence against individuals or groups based on protected characteristics. Do not glorify self-harm, suicide, or violence.
13.4 Security, Malware, and Automation
Do not deploy malware, attempt unauthorized access, probe or test system vulnerabilities, interfere with servers, or use automated scripts, bots, or scraping tools without express permission.
13.5 Fraud and Impersonation
Do not engage in fraud, scams, deceptive schemes, or impersonation of others without consent. Do not use the Services for catfishing, deepfakes of real persons without authorization, or identity theft.
13.6 Circumvention
Do not attempt to bypass usage limits, token accounting, paywalls, geographic or age restrictions, or safety filters. Do not exploit bugs; report them responsibly.
14. Community Features
14.1 Forums, Chatrooms, and Comments
Community areas allow interaction with other users. You are responsible for your posts and interactions. Respect other users, avoid harassment, and follow content rules.
14.2 Moderation Rights
We may moderate, edit, move, or remove community content at our discretion, with or without notice. We may limit or revoke access to community features for violations.
14.3 Visibility and Publicity
Community content may be public or visible to other users. Do not post confidential or sensitive information. Use pseudonyms if you wish to remain anonymous.
15. Safety & Moderation
15.1 Monitoring and Tools
We use a combination of automated systems, human review, filters, and third-party services to detect and address policy violations, including CSAM detection, hate content detection, spam filtering, and abuse monitoring. Monitoring may include review of prompts, outputs, uploads, and community content to enforce these Terms and protect users.
15.2 Reporting and Appeals
Users may report content or behavior that violates these Terms through in-product tools or by contacting support. We review reports and may remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts. You may appeal certain enforcement actions by following provided instructions. Appeals do not guarantee reversal.
15.3 Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations, suspected violations, or risks to users, the platform, or third parties. Serious violations (e.g., CSAM, threats, exploitation) may lead to immediate termination and reporting to authorities.
15.4 Safety Filters
Safety filters and classifiers are used to reduce harmful content but are not foolproof. Attempts to bypass or disable safety systems are prohibited. Filters may sometimes over-block or under-block content; we may adjust filters over time.
16. Data Usage & Privacy
16.1 Privacy Policy Reference
Your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal data. These Terms summarize certain practices but do not replace the Privacy Policy.
16.2 Data We Collect
We may collect account data (e.g., email, username, age confirmation), usage data (e.g., prompts, responses, interactions, tokens used), device and log data, payment and billing data (via processors), uploaded media, and community posts. We may also collect marketing preferences, referral data, and communications with support.
16.3 AI Memory and Personalization
AI memory may store conversation history, preferences, prompts, and feedback to personalize responses. You may have controls to reset or delete memory where available. Memory features may affect the tone and content of outputs. Disabling memory may reduce personalization quality.
16.4 Model Improvement and Training
Where permitted by law and our Privacy Policy, we may use prompts, outputs, and uploaded content to improve our models, safety systems, and services, including for training or fine-tuning. We may apply anonymization or aggregation techniques. Opt-out mechanisms may be available for certain jurisdictions or account types.
16.5 Data Retention and Deletion
We retain data for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of certain personal data, subject to legal and safety exceptions (e.g., fraud prevention, legal holds). Deleting your account may not remove all data from backups or logs immediately.
16.6 CCPA/CPRA and GDPR Rights
If you are a resident of California, the EU/EEA, the UK, or other regions with data protection laws, you may have rights of access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, and opt-out of certain processing or sale/sharing of personal data. We provide mechanisms to exercise these rights as described in our Privacy Policy. Verification may be required.
16.7 Data Security
We implement technical and organizational measures to protect data; however, no system is perfectly secure. You use the Services at your own risk. Promptly notify us of suspected security incidents.
17. Third-Party Services
17.1 Stripe and Payment Processors
Payments, subscriptions, and token purchases are facilitated through Stripe or other processors. Your transactions are subject to their terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for errors or security incidents arising from third-party processors.
17.2 AI Inference Providers
We may use third-party AI infrastructure, models, or APIs to generate text, images, and audio. These providers may process your inputs and outputs to deliver the Services and are subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
17.3 Hosting, CDN, and Analytics
We rely on third-party hosting, CDN, storage, analytics, and monitoring services. These providers may process data to deliver performance and reliability.
17.4 External Links
The Services may contain links to third-party sites or content. We do not endorse and are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Use third-party sites at your own risk.
18. Intellectual Property
18.1 Our Rights
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Services, including software, models, algorithms, code, designs, trademarks, logos, trade dress, and other proprietary materials, are owned by RedLightWorld or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the licenses expressly granted to you, no rights are transferred.
18.2 Restrictions
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, translate, or create derivative works of the Services or any part thereof. Do not remove or alter proprietary notices. You may not access the Services to build a competing product or service.
19. Service Availability
19.1 No Guaranteed Uptime
The Services are provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Downtime may occur due to maintenance, updates, outages, or factors beyond our control.
19.2 Maintenance and Updates
We may suspend or limit the Services for maintenance, security updates, or modifications. We aim to schedule planned maintenance to minimize disruption but may perform emergency maintenance without notice.
19.3 Beta Features
Beta or experimental features may be unstable, have reduced performance or security, and may be discontinued at any time.
20. Liability Limitations
20.1 As-Is; No Warranties
THE SERVICES, INCLUDING AI OUTPUTS, ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, OR SECURITY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL CONTENT.
20.2 No Liability for User Content or AI Outputs
RedLightWorld is not responsible for User Content, AI-generated outputs, or actions taken based on them. You assume all risks arising from your use of AI outputs and User Content.
20.3 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RedLightWorld and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, licensors, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to the Services or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
20.4 Cap on Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms will not exceed (a) the amounts you paid to us for the Services in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100), whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations; in such cases, the exclusions and limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted.
20.5 Basis of the Bargain
The disclaimers, exclusions, and limitations in this Section form an essential basis of the bargain between you and RedLightWorld.
21. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RedLightWorld and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Services; (b) User Content you submit or AI outputs you generate or use; (c) your violation of these Terms or any applicable law; (d) your infringement of any third-party rights; or (e) any dispute between you and another user or third party. We reserve the right to assume exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate.
22. Termination Policy
22.1 Grounds for Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Services at our discretion for reasons including: (a) violations or suspected violations of these Terms or law; (b) risk of harm, fraud, or abuse; (c) failure to pay fees; (d) law enforcement requests; (e) extended inactivity for Free accounts; or (f) technical or security issues.
22.2 Immediate Termination for Illegal Content
Accounts involved in CSAM, trafficking, non-consensual intimate imagery, or other severe violations may be terminated immediately and reported to authorities.
22.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases, and you must cease all use. We may retain certain data for legal, compliance, or safety purposes. Token balances and subscriptions may be forfeited unless required by law. We may disable access to User Content or AI outputs stored on the Services.
22.4 Refunds on Termination
If we terminate without cause (and where required by law), we may provide a prorated refund of prepaid fees. If termination is for cause (including your breach), no refunds or credits will be issued.
22.5 Appeals
You may appeal suspensions or terminations where indicated by following provided instructions. We may decline appeals involving severe policy or legal violations.
23. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, for any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services, except where prohibited by law.
